About University of Wisconsin Platteville

University of Wisconsin–Platteville (UW–Platteville) is a public university circles in Platteville, Wisconsin. Part of the University of Wisconsin System, it offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The college circles has three colleges that serve higher than 8,000 students on-campus and an new 3,000 students through its five separate from education programs.

Platteville is the largest city in Grant County in southwestern Wisconsin. The population was 11,224 at the 2010 census, growing 12% since the 2000 Census. Much of this accumulation is likely due to the enrollment increase of the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. It is the principal city of the Platteville Micropolitan Statistical area, which has an estimated population of 49,681.
