About Bentley University
Bentley University is a private the academy focused upon business and located in Waltham, Massachusetts. Founded in 1917 as a speculative of accounting and finance in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, Bentley moved to Waltham in 1968. Waltham Watch Company opened its factory in Waltham in 1854 and was the first company to make watches on an assembly line. It won the gold medal in 1876 at the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition.
