About Wilmington College

Wilmington University is a private, non-profit academic circles with its main campus in New Castle, Delaware. It was founded in 1968 as Wilmington College by educator Dr. Donald Ross. As of 2016, the academic circles served a sum student body of 20,522 undergraduate and postgraduate students in approximately 100 degree and sanction programs. The university’s programs are offered at its main campus in historic New Castle as well as at six other campuses in Delaware, several partnership locations in New Jersey, and a single partnership location in northeastern Maryland.

Wilmington is a city in and the county seat of Clinton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 12,520 at the 2010 census. At city entrances from divulge routes, county roads, and U.S. highways, the city slogan of “We Honor Our Champions” is seen, accompanied by signs that make more noticeable various energetic accomplishments from Wilmington individuals and teams. The city features a weather forecast office of the National Weather Service, which serves whatever of Southwestern Ohio and portions of Kentucky and Indiana.

Wilmington was featured in Time magazine on December 8, 1997 as a small town that is handsome to suburban families. The city was also showcased in a 1995 declaration titled The 100 Best Small Towns in America. Home to Wilmington College, founded in 1870 by the Society of Friends, the city and the surrounding area include exceeding one dozen Quaker meeting houses.
