Waldorf University is a private for-profit college circles in Forest City, Iowa. It was founded in 1903 and for most of its energy was a non-profit university associated taking into consideration the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and its predecessors. In 2010, it was sold to Columbia Southern University and became a for-profit institution.

Forest City is a city in Hancock and Winnebago counties in the U.S. state of Iowa, and the county chair of Winnebago County. The population was 4,151 in the 2010 census, a subside from the 4,362 population in 2000.
