About University of Wisconsin River Falls

The University of Wisconsin–River Falls (UW–River Falls or UWRF) is a public academic circles in River Falls, Wisconsin. It is portion of the University of Wisconsin System. The 226-acre (91 ha) campus is situated upon the Kinnickinnic River in the St. Croix River Valley. The college circles has 32 major buildings and two laboratory farms, with a sum of 440 acres (178 ha) of land.

In 2013–2014, UWRF had an enrollment of 6,061 students in exceeding 40 undergraduate and graduate programs. UWRF is a supporter of the American Council of Education Internationalization Laboratory and provides several global studies and examination abroad programs. The the academy also hosts the St. Croix Institute for Sustainable Community Development.

River Falls is a city in Pierce and St. Croix counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is adjacent to the Town of River Falls in Pierce County and the Town of Kinnickinnic in St. Croix County. River Falls is the most populous city in Pierce County. The population was 15,000 at the 2010 census, with 11,851 residing in Pierce County and 3,149 in St. Croix County. It is part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area and located nearly 30 miles (48 km) east of the middle of that region.
