About University of Saint Mary
The University of Saint Mary (USM) is a private Catholic academic circles in Leavenworth, Kansas. It is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, who expected it as Saint Mary College. Though it was originally a university for women, the hypothetical is now coeducational. The mother home of the order is also upon the premises. At one period the nuns’ property had its own pronounce office, Xavier, Kansas, the name respect St. Francis Xavier.
The university circles offers 26 bachelor’s degree programs and six master’s degree programs. Traditional, evening, degree completion, and online classes are available.

Leavenworth is the county chair and largest city of Leavenworth County, Kansas, United States and is share of the Kansas City metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 35,251. It is located upon the west bank of the Missouri River. The site of Fort Leavenworth, built in 1827, the city became known in American chronicles for its role as a key supply base in the agreement of the American West. During the American Civil War, many volunteers united the Union Army from Leavenworth. The city has been notable as the location of several prisons, particularly the United States Disciplinary Barracks and United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth.
