The University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) is a campus of the public University of Nebraska system and located in Kearney, Nebraska. It was founded in 1905 as the Nebraska State Normal School at Kearney.

Kearney /ˈkɑːrni/ is a city in and the county chair of Buffalo County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 30,787 at the 2010 census. It is house to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The westward shove of the railroad as the Civil War done gave birth to the community.
