About University of Montana Western

The University of Montana Western (UMW) is a public university circles in Dillon, Montana. It is affiliated similar to the University of Montana and ration of the Montana University System. The educational was founded in 1893 as Montana State Normal School. The hypothetical was founded as a center for training teachers. It was formerly known as Western Montana College of the University of Montana past becoming part of the Montana University System in 2000. Enrollment of full-time, degree seeking students as of drop 2018 was 1,221 students.

Dillon is a city in and the county seat of Beaverhead County, Montana, United States. The population was 4,134 at the 2010 census. The city was named for Union Pacific Railroad President Sidney Dillon.
