The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO or Central) is a public academic world in Edmond, Oklahoma. It is the third largest university in Oklahoma, with exceeding 17,000 students and approximately 434 full-time and 400 addition faculty. As U.S. 66 continues west upon 2nd Street it joins U.S. 77 in downtown Edmond, where it turns south as Broadway. Public transportation is provided by Citylink Edmond bus service.
