About The American College of Financial Services

The American College of Financial Services (The American College) is a private theoretical focused on professional training for financial practitioners and located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. It offers several professional certifications, two types of master’s degrees, and a PhD degree. Annually, The American College educates approximately 40,000 students, mainly through turn away from education.

The institution was founded as The American College of Life Underwriters in 1927 by Solomon S. Huebner of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Huebner was a professional involved in the fee of economic theory. His theory of human cartoon value is used in the auditorium of insurance. It was his vision for a college-level professional education program for insurance agents that led to the introduction of The American College.

Today the literary offers professional training to everything types of financial practitioners. When the institution began, programs focused exclusively upon providing education to energy insurance professionals. The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation was the first credential offered by The College. Today The College provides training for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exam, The Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, and the Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) master’s degree.

Twenty full-time capability members and financial experts work at the campus.

The American College campus was bought by the Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in 2007.

In May 2019, The American College moved its vigorous headquarters to King of Prussia, PA.

Bryn Mawr (pronounced /ˌbrɪnˈmɑːr/; from Welsh for “big hill”) is a census-designated place (CDP), located across 3 townships: Radnor Township and Haverford Township, Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia along Lancaster Avenue (US-30).

There are then areas not in the census-designated place but which have “Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania” postal addresses located in Radnor and Haverford Townships in Delaware County.

Bryn Mawr is located toward the middle of what is known as the Main Line, a help of booming Philadelphia suburban villages stretching from the city limits to Malvern. They became house to sprawling country estates belonging to Philadelphia’s wealthiest families, and beyond the decades became a bastion of “old money”. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 3,779. Bryn Mawr is house to Bryn Mawr College.
