About South Plains College
South Plains College (SPC) is a public community scholastic in Levelland, Texas. It operates satellite branches in Plainview, at the Reese Technology Center, formerly Reese Air Force Base, in western Lubbock, and the Lubbock Center near central Lubbock. SPC moreover has many classes in the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center in Lubbock as part of a joint venture bearing in mind the Lubbock Independent School District.
SPC has distance-education centers located in Muleshoe, Littlefield, and Denver City. In complement to its distance-education programs, the school also provides online (distance-education) courses to its students, as without difficulty as dual-credit courses to tall schools in the West Texas area.
South Plains College in Levelland, TX Review
Levelland is a city in Hockley County, Texas, in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 13,542, up from 12,866 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Hockley County. It is located on the Llano Estacado, 30 miles (48 km) west of Lubbock. Major industries combine cotton gardening and petroleum production. It is the house of South Plains College.
Levelland is the principal city of the Levelland micropolitan statistical area, which includes anything of Hockley County and ration of the larger Lubbock–Levelland amassed statistical area.
Levelland was so named on account of the flat home at the town site.
