About Oakland Community College

Oakland Community College (OCC) is a public community scholarly in Oakland County, Michigan established June 8, 1964. With five campuses, it is one of the largest community colleges in Michigan and has the state’s third largest undergraduate enrollment. In auxiliary to the five campus locations the university has a district headquarters in Bloomfield Hills. Enrollment at the college beyond the 2016-2017 learned year was 29,560. Oakland Community College has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission back 1971 and has a Carnegie Classification of Associate’s Colleges: High Transfer-High Nontraditional. The hypothetical offers 57 interchange Associate degrees and 41 different recognize programs. Several students and faculty in the Oakland Community College Culinary Arts program (housed at the Orchard Ridge Campus) have been awarded state, national, and international culinary awards.

As of the 2010 census, the city’s population was 3,869.
