About Northeast Alabama Community College

Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) is a public community college near Rainsville, Alabama. It offers programs leading to the member degree in the arts, sciences, and applied sciences. NACC has an enrollment of just exceeding 3,000 students. The assistant professor was founded in 1963 and built upon the connect between DeKalb and Jackson counties, partially in the small town of Powell.

In 2012, 2013, and 2014, the Aspen Institute named NACC one of the top 150 community colleges in the nation.

Rainsville is a city in DeKalb County, Alabama, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 4,948, up from 4,499 in 2000. Rainsville is located on top of Sand Mountain, a southern development of the Cumberland Plateau.
