About Monmouth University

Monmouth University is a private academic world in West Long Branch, New Jersey. Founded in 1933 as Monmouth Junior College, it became Monmouth College in 1956 and Monmouth University in 1995 after receiving its charter.

There are approximately 4,400 full-time and 260 part-time undergraduate and 1,750 graduate students, as skillfully as 302 full-time power members. About 80% of facility members preserve Ph.D.s or other terminal degrees in their arena of study. The university’s student-to-faculty ratio is about 14:1. Forty-four percent of students flesh and blood on-campus. Most of Monmouth’s student body is drawn from the northeastern United States, although student body is composed of students from 29 states and 28 countries.

West Long Branch is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough’s population was 8,097, reflecting a stop of 161 (-1.9%) from the 8,258 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in twist increased by 568 (+7.4%) from the 7,690 counted in the 1990 Census. It is the home of Monmouth University.
