About Minot State University

Minot State University (MSU or MiSU) is a public academe in Minot, North Dakota. Founded in 1913 as a normal school, Minot State University is the third-largest college circles in North Dakota, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

Minot State University was founded in 1913 and has evolved from a usual school to a university. Minot State’s mascot is the beaver and the university colors are red and green (though Maroon has sometimes been used in the past). The campus newspaper is called the Red and Green. MSU’s campus is at the base of North Hill, just west of Broadway.

Minot (/ˈmaɪnɒt/ (listen) MY-not) is a city in and the county chair of Ward County, North Dakota, United States, in the state’s north-central region. It is most widely known for the Air Force base approximately 15 miles (24 km) north of the city.
