McHenry County College (MCC) is a public community scholarly in McHenry County, Illinois. The hypothetical serves residents residing in Community College District 528, which covers most of McHenry County and portions of surrounding counties. The scholastic is located along U.S. Route 14, on the northwest side of Crystal Lake, Illinois. There are next secondary services in Woodstock and McHenry. Some classes are as well as taught at area high schools, public libraries, local businesses, and extra off-campus locations. It enrolls nearly 7,000 students in career programs, transfer programs, GED and adult basic education, non-credit and career development, and training for businesses.

Crystal Lake is a city in McHenry County in the U.S. state of Illinois. Named after a lake 1.6 miles (2.6 km) southwest of the city’s downtown, Crystal Lake is 45 miles northwest of Chicago. The population was estimated at 39,829 in July 2019, a 2.3% decrease from 2010. Crystal Lake is the largest city in McHenry County, part of the Chicago metropolitan area.
