Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly the Tai Sophia Institute, is a private graduate instructor of substitute medicine in Laurel, Maryland. It is accredited by the Middle States Commission upon Higher Education and has an academic and clinical focus on whole person, relationship-centered healthcare.

Laurel is a city in Maryland, United States, located on midway between Washington and Baltimore on the banks of the Patuxent River. While the city limits are completely in northern Prince George’s County, outlying developments extend into Anne Arundel, Montgomery and Howard counties. Founded as a mill town in the to the fore 19th century, Laurel expanded local industry and was later accomplished to become an upfront commuter town for Washington and Baltimore workers once the arrival of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1835.
