Marist College is a private unbiased arts teacher in Poughkeepsie, New York. Founded in 1905, Marist was formed by the Marist Brothers, a Catholic religious institute, to prepare brothers for their vocations as educators. In 1929, Marist became accredited by the allow in to offer a wider range of degrees in the arts and sciences. Poughkeepsie (/pəˈkɪpsi/ pə-KIP-see, officially the City of Poughkeepsie, separate from the Town of Poughkeepsie) is a city in the U.S. state of New York.
