About Long Beach City College

Long Beach City College (LBCC) is a public community bookish in Long Beach, California. It was usual in 1927 and is not speaking into two campuses. The Liberal Arts Campus is in Lakewood Village and the Pacific Coast Campus is in central Long Beach on Pacific Coast Highway. It is the only literary in the Long Beach Community College District.

LBCC serves San Pedro, Catalina Island and the cities of Long Beach, Lakewood and Signal Hill. During the 2015–2016 academic year, the instructor had an enrollment of 33,818 students.

Long Beach is a city in the U.S. state of California located within the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It is the 43rd most populous city in the United States, with a population of 463,218 as of 2020. The city is more than an oilfield with teenager wells both directly beneath the city as with ease as offshore.

The city is known for its port attractions, including the at all times docked RMS Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Long Beach moreover hosts the Grand Prix of Long Beach, currently an IndyCar race and the Long Beach Pride Festival and Parade. California State University, Long Beach, one of the largest universities in California by enrollment, is located in the city.
