About Life University

Life University is a private academe in Marietta, Georgia focused upon training chiropractors. It was established in 1974 by chiropractor Sid E. Williams. In auxiliary to undergraduate and graduate programs in health and wellness-oriented fields, Life University is best known for its Doctor of Chiropractic degree program. It is the largest single campus chiropractic learned in the world[better source needed] and espouses the 19th century philosophy of vitalism (a pseudoscience) as its guiding doctrine. Life University centers their mission, including clinical training, around the vertebral subluxation complex.

Marietta is located in central Cobb County, Georgia, United States, and is the county’s seat and largest city.

At the 2010 census, the city had a population of 56,579. The 2019 estimate was 60,867, making it one of Atlanta’s largest suburbs. Marietta is the fourth largest of the principal cities by population of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
