Lander University is a public university in Greenwood, South Carolina. It is the state’s second-smallest publicly funded baccalaureate institution.

Greenwood is a city in and the county chair of Greenwood County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 23,222 at the 2010 census. The city is house to Lander University.
