Lake–Sumter State College is a public teacher in Central Florida. It is a advocate of the Florida College System. The college has three campuses in Lake and Sumter Counties: the indigenous campus in Leesburg, the South Lake Campus in Clermont, and the Sumter Campus in Sumterville. The college also partners like The Villages Charter High School as a dual enrollment site.

Leesburg is a city in Lake County, Florida, United States. The population was 20,117 at the 2010 census. As of 2019, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 23,671.

Leesburg is in central Florida, between Lake Harris and Lake Griffin, at the head of the Oklawaha River system. It is share of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area.
