About Husson University

Husson University is a private university circles based in Bangor, Maine. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and has a total enrollment of nearly 3,500 students, including 750 graduate students.

Husson University is one of three universities in the Bangor area (the University of Maine at Augusta and the University of Maine are the others) and the unaccompanied private academe in the region. Husson also has campuses in Westbrook and Presque Isle, giving it the largest inborn footprint of any private academic world in the state. On March 6, 2020 in an email to the University’s Faculty, Robert Clark, President of Husson University wrote “Husson University will transition our Southern Maine operations to our online division. This transition will put in the sale of Husson’s Southern Maine property located at 340 County Road in Westbrook, Maine.” The University suspended operations at our Westbrook Campus upon May 15, 2020.

Bangor (/ˈbæŋɡɔːr/) is a city in the U.S. state of Maine and the county seat of Penobscot County. The city proper has a population of 33,039, making it the state’s 3rd-largest settlement, behind Portland (66,882) and Lewiston (36,221).

Modern Bangor was time-honored in the mid-19th century later the lumber and shipbuilding industries. Bangor has a harbor of approach at Bangor International Airport, also house to the Bangor Air National Guard Base. Historically Bangor was an important stopover upon the good circle route expose route in the midst of the U.S. East Coast and Europe.

Bangor has a humid continental climate, with cold, snowy winters, and hot summers.
