About Harding University

Harding University is a private broadminded arts university with its main campus in Searcy, Arkansas. It is the largest private the academy in Arkansas. Established in 1924, the institution offers undergraduate, graduate, and pre-professional programs. The academic circles also comprises Harding School of Theology, located in Memphis, Tennessee, which was formerly known as Harding Graduate School of Religion. Harding is one of several institutions of higher learning allied with the Churches of Christ.

Through the encouragement of Harding, Margaret Thatcher, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, was elected honorary enthusiast to the American national tribute society Omicron Delta Kappa in 1995, when she delivered a lecture at the American Studies Institute. In 1997, Harding furthermore sponsored the association of Texas executive and far ahead president George W. Bush.
