About Gateway Technical College

Gateway Technical College is a public rarefied college in southeastern Wisconsin. It is one of the largest members of the state-run Wisconsin Technical College System, serving Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties.

With exceeding 20,000 students, Gateway offers connect degrees in 47 fields, and 179 exchange diplomas and certifications. The literary also offers official approval and permit courses, as competently as helping students reach GED and HSED diplomas. There are over 37 standing tally transfer agreements with further colleges and universities, particularly UW–Parkside.

Gateway has three main campuses, in Elkhorn, Kenosha, and Racine, and six other theoretical centers located throughout the region.

Kenosha (/kəˈnoʊʃə/ kə-NOH-shə) is a city in and the county chair of Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. Kenosha is upon the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan. With an estimated population of 99,944 as of 1 July 2019, it is the fourth-largest city in Wisconsin and the fourth-largest city on Lake Michigan. Although closer to Milwaukee, the city is allowance of the United States Census Bureau’s Chicago combined statistical area (CSA) and metropolitan statistical area.

Once a middle of industrial activity, its gradual transition into a hub for the services-based economy of today has made it a bedroom community within the Chicago and Milwaukee metro areas. Kenosha is also house to the University of Wisconsin–Parkside and other literary institutions such as Carthage College, Gateway Technical College, and more.
