Florence–Darlington Technical College is a two-year community scholarly in Florence, South Carolina. It is a portion of the South Carolina Technical College System.
The Florence-Darlington Technical Education Center was customary in 1963 and serves Florence, Darlington, and Marion counties. The College’s initial enrollment of 250 students now exceeds 6,000 students. Its native campus of less than 10 acres (4.05 ha) has expanded to approximately 240 acres (97 ha) with a modern rarefied of eight major buildings totaling approximately 350,000 square feet (33,000 m2).
The scholastic operates sites in Hartsville, Lake City, and Mullins. The scholarly also operates a large health sciences obscure in downtown Florence enormously devoted to careers in the health arena.

Florence /ˈflɒrəns/ is a city in and the county chair of Florence County, South Carolina, United States. It is at the intersection of Interstate 95 and Interstate 20 and is the eastern terminus of the latter. It is the county seat of Florence County and the primary city within the Florence metropolitan area. The Place forms the core of the historical “Pee Dee” region of South Carolina, which includes the eight counties of northeastern South Carolina, along past sections of southeastern North Carolina. As of the 2010 census, the population of Florence was 37,056, and the estimated population in 2019 was 38,531.
Florence is one of the major cities in South Carolina. In 1965, Florence was named an All-American City, presented by the National Civic League. The city was founded as a railroad hub and became the junction of three major railroad systems, including the Wilmington and Manchester, the Northeastern, and the Cheraw and Darlington.
