Darton State College was a two-year state hypothetical unit of the University System of Georgia, located in Albany, Georgia, United States. In 2011, the College reached its highest enrollment of 6,097 students. Prior to consolidation afterward Albany State University, the theoretical offered 84 two-year transfer and career connect degrees, 4 four-year baccalaureate degrees, and 49 authorize programs.

Albany (/ɔːbəni/ AW-bə-nee) is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia. Located upon the Flint River, it is the chair of Dougherty County, and is the sole incorporated city in that county. Located in southwest Georgia, it is the principal city of the Albany, Georgia metropolitan area. The population was 77,434 at the 2010 U.S. Census, making it the eighth-largest city in the state.
