Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) is a public, two-year perplexing college in Rosemount, Minnesota. It is located in Dakota County inside the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. DCTC belongs to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System and is one of five stand-alone perplexing colleges in the state.

Rosemount is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota, United States, in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. The population was 21,874 at the 2010 census and 25,207 as of July 2019. Rosemount was acknowledged as a township in 1858 and incorporated as a city in 1972, encompassing the outdated village of Rosemount and Pine Bend. According to the city’s website, there was some debate over whether to declare the township Saratoga or Rosemount, with the latter finally prearranged to reflect the town’s Irish parentage and remain in keeping considering the name solution to the say office a few years earlier. In the 1940s it was home to a military gunpowder plant, Gopher Ordnance Works.
