Columbia State Community College is a public community learned in Columbia, Tennessee. Founded in 1966, it serves nine counties in southern Middle Tennessee through five campuses. Columbia is a city in and the county seat of Maury County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 34,681 at the 2010 census and in 2019 the population was 40,335. Columbia is included in the Nashville metropolitan area.
The self-proclaimed “mule capital of the world,” Columbia annually celebrates the city-designated Mule Day each April. Columbia and Maury County are customary as the “Antebellum Homes Capital of Tennessee”; the county has more antebellum houses than any further county in the state. The city is house to one of the last two enduring residences of James Knox Polk, the 11th President of the United States; the supplementary is the White House.
