About Chapman University

Chapman University is a private research university circles in Orange, California. It encompasses ten schools and colleges, including Fowler School of Engineering, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Fowler School of Law, and Schmid College of Science and Technology, and is classified among “R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity”. The university says that it is not a Christian college, but has had a membership with the Disciples of Christ in the past the university’s founding and the United Church of Christ back 2011.

Orange is a city located in Orange County, California. It is nearly 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) north of the county seat, Santa Ana. Orange is unusual in this region because many of the homes in its Old Town District were built in the past 1920. While many supplementary cities in the region demolished such houses in the 1960s, Orange fixed to preserve them. The small city of Villa Park is surrounded by the city of Orange. The population was 138,669 as of 2019.
