About California State University Dominguez Hills
California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH, Dominguez Hills, or Cal State Dominguez Hills) is a public university circles in Carson, California. It was founded in 1960 and is share of the California State University (CSU) system.

CSUDH offers 46 Bachelors degrees, 23 Masters programs, a variety of single, multi-subject and specialized teaching credentials and a number of undergraduate, graduate and post-baccalaureate certificate programs within its five colleges: College of Arts and Humanities, College of Business Administration and Public Policy, College of Extended and International Education, College of Health, Human Services and Nursing, and College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences. The academic world is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC); is designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution; and is nationally accredited in thing administration, chemistry, clinical sciences (cytotechnology, medical technology), computer science, education, health science (orthotics and prosthetics), music, nursing, occupational therapy, public administration, social work (MSW), and theatre arts. The campus offers small class sizes for its students.
The campus sits on the historic Rancho San Pedro, the oldest land attain in the Los Angeles area. The land was in the continuous possession of the Dominguez associates through seven generations – from its concession to Juan Jose Domínguez in 1784 to its acquisition by the acknowledge of California for the university. The campus mascot is the Toro, Spanish for bull.

Carson is a city in Los Angeles County, California in the south bay region of Los Angeles, located 13 miles (21 km) south of downtown Los Angeles and nearly 14 miles (23 km) away from Los Angeles International Airport. Incorporated on February 20, 1968, Carson is the newest municipality in the South Bay region of Metropolitan Los Angeles. As of 2019, it was estimated that the city had a population of 91,394.
