About Bucks County Community College
Bucks County Community College (Bucks) is a public community educational located Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1964, Bucks has three campuses and online courses: a main campus in Newtown, an “Upper County” campus in the town of Perkasie, and a “Lower County” campus in the town of Bristol. There are along with various satellite facilities located throughout the county. The teacher offers courses via face-to-face classroom-based instruction, as eLearning classes offered certainly online (often referred to as turn away from learning), and in hybrid (blended) modes that append face-to-face instruction with online learning. The intellectual is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
The main Newtown campus is located upon a former home that Bucks County acquired in extremely early 1965 from Temple University, which had familial it from Stella Elkins Tyler, a wealthy benefactor, only two years before. Administrative offices are housed in the George F. Tyler Mansion. It was supplementary to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
In May 2006, construction began adjoining the original Bristol campus to construct two supplementary buildings that added and permanently house more classrooms and laboratories. Part of the supplementary Bristol Campus opened in the Fall semester of 2007, and the second section was completed in Spring of 2008. This capacity is now known as the Lower Bucks Campus.

Newtown is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,248 at the 2010 census. It is located just west of the Trenton, New Jersey metropolitan area, and is portion of the larger Philadelphia metropolitan area. It is utterly surrounded by Newtown Township, from which it on bad terms in 1838. State Street is the main commercial thoroughfare with broad sidewalks, shops, taverns, and restaurants.
