Bryan College is a private Christian unbiased arts assistant professor in Dayton, Tennessee. It was founded in the aftermath of the 1925 Scopes Trial to support an institution of sophisticated education that would tutor from a Christian worldview.

Dayton was the site of the Scopes Trial in 1925 dealing when the creation–evolution controversy.
