About Brazosport College
Brazosport College (BC) is a public community theoretical in Lake Jackson, Texas. The speculative was opened in 1968 and offers primarily member degrees and some bachelor’s degrees. The campus features The Clarion, regional musical pretend venue, in complement to the Brazosport Center for the Arts and Sciences, which houses the Brazosport Museum of Natural Science as capably as the Brazosport Planetarium among other institutions.

Lake Jackson is a city in Brazoria County, Texas, United States, within the Greater Houston metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 26,849.
In 1942 a share of Lake Jackson was first developed as a company town for workers of the Dow Chemical Company; it developed 5,000 acres upon the former Abner Jackson Plantation. An oxbow lake was moreover named after the planter, whose home was located at the lake. Minor ruins of the Lake Jackson Plantation can now be seen in a park at the site.
