About Adams State University

Adams State University is a public the academy in Alamosa, Colorado. The university’s Adams State Grizzlies flexible teams compete under the auspices of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

The City of Alamosa is the Home Rule Municipality that is the county chair and the most populous municipality of Alamosa County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 8,780 at the 2010 United States Census. The city is the commercial middle of the San Luis Valley in south-central Colorado, and is the home of Adams State University.
